Denni Locke, Pastor Fred Small, a small group of volunteers and I started Bridge The Gap Tutoring in 1995 with a handful of students and tutors at the Marin City Church of God.
Now, with the help of generous funding from the Marin Community Foundation, the Milagro Foundation, Fireman’s Fund, and various other Bay Area foundations and organizations, the program has expanded to serve over 40 students from the Marin City Community with one-on-one tutoring two nights per week all through the school year. www.btgtutoring.org
